English for the Real Estate Industry
Our specialised course, English for Real Estate is designed for real estate and property management professionals who want to improve the English language skills they need in their work. The course is designed to meet the special needs of workers in this field and includes professional vocabulary and real-world situations. Topics include the duties of a real estate agent, different types of properties and legal matters related to real estate and property management.
Our aim is to help the participant internalize the vocabulary, phrases and expressions related to their work and to improve their general English language skills. The course materials used are e.g. dialogues, authentic text excerpts and grammar exercises. The focus of the lessons is on the activation of oral skills. Each course is tailor-made and can cover, for example, the following topics:
- Different properties and their evaluation
- Duties and ethical aspects of a real estate agent
- Property propriety right, ownership and rental
- Contracts, loans and insurance
- Property use rights and use restrictions
- Real estate / property management
In addition to these, the course can go deeper into areas of real estate or the English language that are relevant to students. The main emphasis is on preparing real estate professionals to communicate professionally in English in all work situations. C.C. Communication will help you achieve this goal.
Our teachers are experienced professionals and they speak English as their mother tongue (though Finnish-capable teachers are also available upon request). As the course deals with special vocabulary, participants should begin with at least basics skills in English. If necessary, we can assess the skill level of the participants before starting the course. The course is designed according to the needs, skill level and schedules of the students and suitable for both one-to-one or small group, face-to-face or online training.
